考研英语作文 1
  Human Activity and the Earth

There is no doubt that human activity has an effect on the planet. We see the evidence of mankinds endeavors all around us. While some of mans accomplishments, such as the building of transportation systems and the consistent supply of potable water, have made Earth a better place for people to

live, they have not come without cost. Overall, it seems that human activity harms the Earth more than it benefits it.

For example, the transportation systems that benefit mankind also create pollution and use up

valuable energy resources. While we cannot do without transportation these days, we cannot ignore the fact that it has an adverse effect on the planet. Furthermore, those advances that benefit

people do not benefit al the life on Earth. Deforestation endangers many animals, and mankinds

great thirst for water and other resources leads to the extinction of many plant forms. In addition, accomplishments such as the supply of potable water to a community are only response to problems

that mankind created in the past. It was man that made the water unfit to drink in the first place.

Finally, the damage that human activity causes will eventually have a negative effect on people.

They will also suffer the effects of pollution and diminishing natural resources.

In conclusion, it seems apparent that man’s activity benefits primarily himself, not the Earth.

Moreover, those benefits are only short—term advantages, and man will also suffer the negative

effects of his activity in the future. The Earth does not have an inexhaustible supply of resources,

so every effort should be made to conserve resources and limit the impact of human activity on the planet.

  Book Knowledge vs. Experience

Knowledge can be acquired from many sources. These include books, teachers and practical experience, and each has its own advantages. The knowledge we gain from books and formal education enables us to learn about things that we have no opportunity to experience in daily life. We can study

all the places in the world and learn from people we will never meet in our lifetime, just by reading about them in books. We can also develop our analytical skills and learn how to view and interpret

the world around us in different ways. Furthermore, we can learn from the past by reading books.

In this way, we wont repeat the mistakes of others and can build on their achievements.

Practical experience, on the other hand, can give us more useful knowledge. It is said that

one learns best by doing, and I believe that this is true, whether one is successful or not.

In fact, I think making mistakes is the best way to learn. Moreover, if one wants to make new

advances, it is necessary to act. Innovations do not come about through reading but through experimentation. Finally, one can apply the skills and insights gained through the study of books

to practical experience, making an already meaningful experience more meaningful. However, unless

it is applied to real experiences, book knowledge remains theoretical and, in the end, is useless. That is why I believe that knowledge gained from practical experience is more important than that

  acquired from books.

  The Media and Famous People

In almost every form of media, including television, newspapers and magazines, a great deal of

attention is paid to the personal lives of celebrities. It seems that the public cannot get enough

of this kind of news. However, I believe that the media have a responsibility to present a balanced

view of the world, as well as respect the lives of public figures. Therefore, I believe that

the media pay too much attention to the personal lives of famous people.

For people who are fascinated with the lives of public figures there are some forms of media devoted

exclusively to this topic. They can satisfy their curiosity by buying fan magazines and watching

TV shows devoted to entertainment news. The general media should present all types of information

because people have different interests. Furthermore, the practice of dwelling on the private lives of celebrities can lead people to pay more attention to these matters than they otherwise would.

Perhaps most importantly, the media should respect the privacy of every individual, including

public figures. They may have chosen to be in the public eye, but that does not give the public

the right to know everything about them. Moreover, many stories about celebrities are untrue; they

are only gossip reported to increase sales of magazines and other media. They are unfair to the famous and mislead the public.

For all of these reasons, I believe that the media should pay more attention to matters other than

the private lives of public figures. In this way, they can appeal to a wider audience and encourage people to develop other interests. In my opinion, the media currently pay too much attention to

the private lives of public figures.

If I were to leave my home for a year, there is one thing I definitely would take with me: my cellphone. With my cell phone, I could call my friends or family if I ever was lonely, needed advice,or just wanted to talk.

If I were away from home for a year, I would be very lonely, especially in the beginning before Imade friends. If I could call my mother and father, I would hear their familiar voices and I wouldnot feel so lonely. Hearing my friends’ voices would also help me overcome my sadness.

I’ve never been on my own so there are many things I am not familiar with. I’ve never opened abank account, got a driver’s license, or made my own food. If I had to cook chicken orsomething, I could call up my mother and she could tell me how to make dinner.

Sometimes, I may just want to talk in my own language. With my cell phone, I could call myfriends and tell them about my new life. This would make them jealous of me. I would call thema lot so they could hear all the wonderful things I am doing.

For me a cell phone is a necessity. I would need it anytime I was lonely, anytime I needed to dosomething I didn’t know how to do, and anytime I just wanted to talk. Of course, the phone billwill be sent to my parents.

  考研英语作文 6
For over a decade, the craze of Chinese college graduates taking qualifying examinations to become civil servants has remained unabated. An important proportion of graduates view civil service as their top priority in job selection and they spare no efforts in preparing for those examinations, sometimes years before their graduation.

To some extent, this craze is a modern revival of the ancient notion that “those who excel in academics end up in officialdom.” In the present-day China, however, there are complicated reasons underlying this phenomenon. The jobs in sectors other than civil service are insecure and unstable, and employees have to work under greater stress faced with growing competitions in the workplace and the industry. Some government departments are related to monopolized industries and civil servants can enjoy unusually high salaries and welfare benefits. Finally, government officials are usually regarded as occupying the highest rung of the social hierarchy and a student who succeeds in becoming government official is considered the pride of the family, adding prestige and glory to the entire clan.

For all the apparent attractions of the officialdom, the craze of entering the civil service is a distorted one. In the United States, truly ambitious students enter the industry instead of civil departments, where they apply their individual initiative to achieve personal success. It has already been pointed out that, with so many best minds of the nation fighting their way into the civil sectors, the consequences are catastrophic. The civil servants system, with its inherent bureaucracy and rigid rules, would inevitably turn the otherwise energetic and aggressive young people into docile followers of their superiors’ instructions and dutiful but mediocre implementers of executive orders. This will considerably undermine the vitality of a whole generation and the competitiveness of the entire country in the international arena. All forms of craze are accompanied by elements of irrationality and abnormality and, the sooner this craze vanishes, the better.

knowledge is power recently there has been a discussion regarding the issue of knowl- edge in the newspaper. as can be seen from the picture, knowledge is symbolized by a clenched fist as power.

the fist sends out a message for “obedience”,threatening to crack with power any hard nut. the more demanding and challenging a task is,the more powerful the fist seems to grow. similarly, knowledge, the strongest power for human beings, feeds up the field of science and technology. the more ad- vanced and developed a field is,the more profound knowledge seems to become. a specific eample is the dunaping of mir, russia‘s space station. as is the case of the russian space program, the country could no longer afford to keep mir aloft in orbit because of lack of financial support therefore,rus- sia decided to dump the space station. the effect is both immediate and far -reaching.

as far as the present is concerned, the successful launching and dumping of ivrlr has proved to the world that mankind, armed with pro- fca. md knowledge, cannot just build things but can operate them welt. for the distant impact, the once- in- a- lifetime success of/vftr provides man with valuable and indispensable eperience for manned space flight in the years to crane. then, someday in the furore, them might appear in space more mirs, visiting mars, spreading friendship, parading the perfect maste- ry of knowledge. as to the best way to master knowledge,i suggest that everyone of us “ask not what others will learn from you,but what you can learn from the others.” by so doing,i sincerely believe each person,pro- tected by’ the “fist”,will be learned and knowledgeable.

archaeology is a source of history, not just a bumble auiliary discipline. archaeological data are historical documents in their own right, not mere illustrations to written tets, just as much as any other historian, an archaeologist studies and tries to reconstitute the process that has created the human world in which we live - and us ourselves in so far as we are each creatures of our age and social environment. archaeological data are all changes in the material world resulting from human action or, more succinctly, the fossilized results of human behavior. the sum total of these constitutes what may be called the archaeological record. this record ehibits certain peculiarities and deficiencies the consequences of which produce a rather superficial contrast between archaeological history and the more familiar kind based upon written records.

not all human behavior fossilizes. the words i utter and you hear as vibrations in the air are certainly human changes in the material world and may be of great historical significance. yet they leave no sort of trace in the archaeological records unless they are captured by a dictaphone or written down by a clerk. the movement of troops on the battlefield may change the course of history, but this is equally ephemeral from the archaeologists standpoint. what is perhaps worse, most organic materials are perishable. everything made of wood, hide, wool, linen, grass, hair, and similar materials will decay and vanish in dust in a few years or centuries, save under very eceptional conditions. in a relatively brief period the archaeological record is reduce to mere scraps of stone, bone, glass, metal, and earthenware. still modern archaeology, by applying appropriate techniques and comparative methods, aided by a few lucky finds from peat-bogs, deserts, and frozen soils, is able to fill up a good deal of the gap.

As is portrayed in the picture, a boiling hotpot contains various forms of both domestic and alien cultures. The hodgepodge could be categorized as a mixture of literature, moral values and performing arts. It reveals to us that our modern culture is netplicated and diverse.

I cannot help relating this picture to reality and wondering why this happened in reality. For one thing, the globalization has made it possible that the cultures from all over the world can meet and mix together and we can enjoy the benefits of alien cultures without going abroad. For another, the harmonious coexistence between the traditions and modern cultures gives us a rich identity and spiritual wealth.

What is right attitude we should take toward the phenomenon? First of all, we should get lost in face of the diverse cultures and values. We must remember we must preserve our own national and local cultures in which we take root. Secondly, in the mixture of cultures and values we must learn to distinguish the good from the harmful. We should absorb the nutritious good cultures and values but at the same time we must defend ourselves against the danger of being polluted by the bad cultures and values.

Many people appreciate the conveniences of the city. The city offers a wide choice of jobs for adults and schools for children. It also provides plenty of facilities for culture, entertainment and recreationrestaurants, department, stores, cinemas, and so on. Besides, transportation is usually well developed in the city, with a variety of modes of travel, including buses, trains and subways.

In the country, on the other hand, one can enjoy the advantages of fresh air and food, and a more relaxed life style. Housing is usually spacious and inexpensive in the country. And, as for recreation, what could be more relaxing than a stroll down a country lane amid beautiful scenery? However there are advantages to living in either the city or the country. City air tends to be polluted, and the streets are always crowded and noisy. In the country, on the other hand, the lack of stimulating activities can make a person feel bored and isolated.

All in all, I would say that living in the city is best, for the convenience the city offers in terms of education and work; after all, one can always spend vacations in the countryand get the best of both.?

The cartoon presents the Earth with a personified human face that seems quite unhappy. A examination of the picture immediately reveals that the source of its mood is the air pollution resulting from a huge number of automobiles spread around its surface.

The cartoon, no doubt, aims at alarming humans of the heavy load we have exerted on Earth by our insatiable production and usage of automobiles. However, the majority of people merely indulge in the celebration of the convenience brought by cars, while forgetting or simply neglecting their harmful impact on the atmosphere. Admittedly, there are various factors contributing to the current worldwide air pollution, but it is undeniable that the exhaust from automobiles is categorized as one of the major elements.

I would like to make the following proposals to solve this problem: firstly, we should apply the most cutting-edge technologies in order to adopt new forms of energy as substitutes for fossil fuels. It should also be guaranteed that the clean energy be inexpensive so that it can be widely accepted. Besides, there should be attempts to develop possible transportation means, so that citizens can be diverted from dependence on cars. In short, it is humans‘ responsibility to resume clean air for Earth.

From the picture above,we can see a spical "hotpot",which contains many unique ingredients, stand for "LAO SHE","KONG FU","Decompostion" and some things to that effect. At the bottom of the picture,a sentence stands there extremely prominent, which can be brielf interpreted by this way:culture "hotpot" is not only good tasting but also strongly good for one`s health. A bit exggerating picture is,however, through careful observation,we may discover that behind this strange senario, what the cartoonist intends to show us is extremely obvious:the significance of integration between Chinese culture and other countries` culture.

With the implementation of the China`s reform and opening up,an emerging tendency is that more and more foriegners are getting fascinated with our Chinese culture. They come to China to learn Chinese language, taste delicious Chinese foods, make friends with Chinese people, and etc.All these make them pretty comfortable and agreeable. At the same time, however, this phenomenon also stirred a heated dated in our society,so,how to render the other countries` culture be more compatible with our Chinese culture has caused wide public concern.

As far as I am concerned, before giving my opinion I think we should take closely look at the culture`s function widely.Policymakers should be more aware of that culture integration not only benefits to our making a further development but exerts a great contribution to the world peace.

The Effects of Technology on Learning

The technological advances of the last few years have been amazing. Never before have students

had such a wide variety of resources to help them in their studies. Those who can take advantage

of these resources have the opportunity to learn about more subjects and to acquire more in—depth knowledge. In my opinion, students can indeed learn more and learn more quickly with the help of modern technology.

The piece of technology most important as a learning tool must be the computer. Paired with the

Internet, it allows students to research topics more quickly and thoroughly and to write up their

findings more rapidly as well. Furthermore, advances in many fields are being made so fast these days that it is impossible four textbooks to keep up. Technology allows students to keep abreast

of the latest developments. Also, it cannot be denied that many students enjoy using such resources in their studies. Because of this, they are more likely to pursue subjects in greater depth.

For all these reasons, I believe that technology is of great benefit to todays students. Of course, it is still possible to learn without the aid of such devices, but I believe that those students

who are fortunate enough to have access to technological resources should take every advantage

  of them.

i think the essence of wisdom is emancipation, as far as possible, from the tyranny of the here and the now. we cannot help the egoism of our senses. sight and sound and touch are bound up with our own bodies and cannot be made impersonal. our emotions start similarly from ourselves. an infant feels hunger or distress, and is unaffected ecept by his own physical condition. gradually with the years, his horizon widens, and, in proportion as his thoughts and feelings become less personal and less concerned with his own physical states, he achieves growing wisdom. this is of course a matter of degree. no one can view the world with complete justice, and if anyone could, he would hardly be able to remain alive. but it is possible to make a continual approach towards justice, on the one hand, by knowing things somewhat remote in time or space, and, on the other hand,by giving to such things their due weight in our feelings. it is this approach towards justice that constitutes growth in wisdom.

can wisdom be taught? and, if it can, should the teaching of it be one of the aims of education? i should answer both these questions in the affirmative. i do not think that knowledge and morals ought to be too much separated. even the best technicians should also be good citizens: and when i say

citizens, i mean citizens of the world and not of this or that sect or nation. with every increase of knowledge and skill, wisdom becomes more necessary, for every such increase strengthens our capacity of realizing our purposes, and therefore strengthens our capacity for evil, if our purposes are unwise. the world needs wisdom as it has never needed it before: and if knowledge continues to increase, the world will need wisdom in the future even more than it does now.

Bacteria are etremely small living things. while we measure our own sizes in inches or centimeters, bacterial size is measured in microns. one micron is a thousandth of a millimeter: a pinhead is about a millimeter across. rod-shaped bacteria are usually from two to four microns long, while rounded ones are generally one micron in diameter. thus if you enlarged a rounded bacterium a thousand times, it would be just about the size of a pinhead. an adult human magnified by the same amount would be over a mile(1.6 kilometer) tall.

Even with an ordinary microscope, you must look closely to see bacteria. using a magnification of 100 times, one finds that bacteria are barely visible as tiny rods or dots. one cannot make out anything of their structure. using special stains, one can see that some bacteria have attached to them wavy-looking "hairs" called flagella. others have only one flagellum. the flagella rotate, pushing the bacteria through the water. many bacteria lack flagella and cannot move about by their own power, while others can glide along over surfaces by some little-understood mechanism.

From the bacteria point of view, the world is a very different place from what it is to humans. to a bacterium water is as thick as molasses is to us. bacteria are so small that they are influenced by the movements of the chemical molecules around them. bacteria under the microscope, even those with no flagella, often bounce about in the water. this is because they collide with the watery molecules and are pushed this way and that. molecules move so rapidly that within a tenth of a second the molecules around a bacteria have all been replaced by new ones; even bacteria without flagella are thus constantly eposed to a changing environment.

“should men and women be equal?” this is an issue much talked all over the world. china has made great effort to improve the legal status of women and put the principle of equality into practice. however, women are still denied the right to compete with men on equal terms in many fields.

in this enlightened age, there still exist a certain number of men who view women as second—class citizens. they maintain many things men do could not be done by women, who are inferior, unreliable, irrational and weak. some men even say housework is the women’s task and the wives’ sacrifices are sure to set the husbands up for great success. so the former should have more rights than the latter.

nevertheless, women have shown their excellence and superiority in any fields. as football players, doctors, professors, scientists, and even presidents of countries, they are as good as men and have often put men to shame. they are so conscientious, industrious, and persevering that they frequently succeed brilliantly in all walks of life in addition to bearing and rearing children.

it goes without saying that from the time when mankind first appeared on the earth, there have been men and women. humanity could not have existed and progressed without either of them.

The picture presents a touching sight to us. Two handicapped men are walking quite quickly by binding their disabled legs together and holding fast to each other’s shoulders, with their crutches left behind. What respectable persons they are! They have surpassed their own physical deficiency and explored a smoother and easier way of advancing by drawing strength and support from each other. Obviously, what is highlighted in the picture is cooperation.

In modern times, cooperation has become an efficient and effective way to solve many problems. To begin with, through cooperation, we can heighten our strength so as to accomplish the things that are impossible to be done only by one person. We all have our own limitations and with the fast development of science and technology, we are facing a world that is more and more sophisticated. Therefore, we often need to combine others’ abilities and resources to gain success. What’s more, cooperation is not the simple addition but fusion of all partners’ strength. Making use of different members’ strong points, offsetting the weaknesses, supporting mutually and sharing resources with each other, we can then attain to a capacity that is much stronger than the sum of all partners.

This picture is really thought provoking. As is vividly shown in the above picture, a book is lying above the grass and beautiful flowers. Beside it, there is a topic thatsays:“reading”. There is no denying that the picture implies that reading is of utmost importance to us.

Considering every aspect of it, we may attribute its significance to three factors. First of all, reading can broaden our horizon, widen our knowledge and eich our experience. Besides, reading is to success what water is to a fish. It can put us in a favorable position in the job market. Last but not least, if all of us are willing to read more and extensively, our society will be more progressive and prosperous.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that reading is indispensable in our daily life. Therefore, the mass media, such as

television, Internet and radio, should try best to propaganda and advocate it. As

for ourselves, we should take practical actions to enhance our awareness of reading. Then, we have every reason to be convinced that we can have a bright future and a beautiful world.

on university tuition system in china

directions: it is reported that many universities in china have begun to charge students for tuition. should university students in china pay their own tuition ? state two opposite opinions and illustrate them in detail. write an essay of about 200 words within 40 minutes.

tuition system has become one of the hottest topics in china since it was put into effect. reports on this topic are published in a variety of newspapers and magazines. people differ greatly in their opinions on it.

some people think that there is no university in the world which is open to students without tuition. as far as china is concerned, it is a developing country with the largest population in the world. the government is unable to allocate enough funds to pay for various teaching facilities and many different kinds of expenses. one of the ways to relieve the problem is for students to pay tuition. the money raised in this way can be used to improve the conditions for running schools.

others, however, are opposed to the tuition system. they argue that the living standard of the chinese people, especially of those in the poor rural areas, is still low, compared with that in the western world. the university tuition will certainly add to the already heavy burden of the parents, who live on their salaries or wages. moreover, tuition may become an obstacle to the development of china’s higher education. this is because it hinders some talented people from entering the university just on account of their poverty. keep square clean, tidy on sunday, still on display on tian‘ anmen square were dozens of floats that were paraded along chang’ an avenue during the national day celebrations. thousands of people strolled on the narrow lanes be- tween the floats that fragmented the square, busily taking photos.

not far from the noisy crowds, yellow leaves fell nonchalantly from locust trees along the driveway, sending out the first signals of the coming autumn. but even if all the leaves fall, they still cannot cover the brown and black spots on the whitish stones in the huge square. such stains of chewing gum, stale oil or some worse blemish have remained a constant pain for city cleaners since the square ‘was re- opened a few months ago after renovations to celebrate the 50th anni- versary of the founding of the people’s republic of china. few renovation project planners likely foresee this discouraging outcome. originally, they merely intended to give the city a face- lift. the square was indeed impeccable when new:the-white terrazzo surface not only looks clean but it was made with materials that help prevent it from becoming slippery. however,as time goes by,the virtue becomes the vice:the sur- face attracts and accentuates dirt. as a result, china‘ s most high - profile site has to suffer the indignity of being paraded daily before the public in a humiliation state.

while the tourists who litter should bear the bulk of the blame, the renovation designers should also have learned something:including the square’s sanitary maintenance issue into their consideration.

just as a coin has two sides/on the contrary, the disadvantages resulted from… can’t be ignored. the defects of private cars can be listed as follows: on one hand, more private cars lead to deteriorated environment and noise pollution; on another hand, traffic accidents owe much to the increase of private cars; besides / moreover / furthermore, private cars contribute to serious energy crisis because of their large consumption of petroleum.

my attitude towards it is that i prefer the above mentioned positive effects/advantages of/ brought by private cars overweigh the negative effects/disadvantages. i have at least two basic reasons to prove my point of view. first of all, the reason on which i base my idea is that more private cars will help to develop our national automobile industry and national economy. at the same time, if drastic measures are adopted to avoid the disadvantages brought by cars, we may have a more bright future. that’s why i’m in favor of the idea mentioned in the 1st paragraph.

There was a time when the owners of shops and businesses in Chicago had to pay large sums of money to gangsters in return for protection. If the money was not paid promptly, the gangsters would quickly put a man out of business by destroying his shop. Obtaining protection money is not a modern crime. As long ago as the fourteenth century, an Englishman, Sir John Hawk wood, made the remarkable discovery that people would rather pay large sums of money as have their life work destroyed by gangsters.

Six hundred years ago, Sir Johan Hawk wood arrived in Italy with a band of soldiers and settled near Florence. He soon made a name for himself and came to be known to the Italians as Giovanni Acuto. Whenever the Italian city-states were at war with each other, Hawk wood used to hire his soldiers to princes who were willing to pay the high price he demanded. In times of peace, when business was bad, Hawk wood and his men would march into a city-state and, after burning down a few farms, would offer to go away if protection money was paid to them. Hawk wood made large sums of money in this way. In spite of this, the Italians regarded him as a sort of hero. When he died at the age of eighty, the Florentines gave him a state funeral and had a pictured painted which was dedicated to the memory of the most valiant soldier and most notable leader, Signor Giovanni Haukodue.

How impressive the set of pictures are! In the first picture, the mother takes the daughter by the hand, while after thirty years the daughter hold her mother’s hand which is depicted in the second picture.

The meaning conveyed in the two pictures reveals that to respect the old and love the young is the traditional virtue and should be passed on from one generation to another. In real life, our parents not only give us life but do much in bringing us up. As the time goes on, they grow so physically weak that they no longer have the power to support themselves. So it is human nature for us to take our responsibility of taking care of them when they are old. Meanwhile, the virtue of willing to support the graying parents should be educated among Chinese people, no matter how young they are. It is necessary to drill the idea to the young all the time, so that they can better respect the older in future.

With love for the young, our society will be full of sunshine; with respect for the old, our country will be harmony and prosperous.

The bar chart clearly indicates the turnover of online shopping and its growth rate in China from 2001 to 2008. During that period, there was a dramatic increase from 0.6 billion to 125 billion in its turnover. Meanwhile, the growth rate decreased from 200% to 110.4% at the same time.

Why dose this phenomenon take placeThere are generally three factors accounting for it. First and foremost, due to the fast economic and social development, people enjoy a sharp improvement in their living standards. Accordingly, they can afford to buy computers and mobile phones: the common tools for shopping online. Besides, e-shopping is extremely convenient and efficient. It is available 7/24 and this means people can buy what they want anytime without going out. Last but not least, the price of the goods online is much lower than those in the stores, which greatly caters to the consumer’s needs.

From what has been discussed above, we can predict that the turnover of online shopping will continue to increase at an alarming rate and it will give a huge boost to our national economy. However, we should also be aware of its drawbacks, such as fake commodities, personal financial security, illegal ads and so on. Thereby, we should take a reasonable and scientific attitude towards it.

In the past it was not uncommon for a man to die at forty, having lived a full life. But now we consider a lifespan of forty years to be very short. It is not unusual for people to live into their eighties and nineties, and some even reach 100. Whats more, people are living long, healthy lives and are active well into their “golden years”.

Mankinds longevity is due mainly to advances in science and technology. Medical breakthroughs have eradicated many fatal diseases that were once common. Perhaps more importantly, better general health means that people are less likely to contract infections in the first place. Better health also helps people prevent slowly debilitating conditions, such as heart disease, which can take their lives at an early age. And as civilization has advanced, our living environment and sources of food have become more sanitary. Furthermore, work is now safer and not as taxing on the human body. We do not wear out after just a few years of very hard work. There are many reasons why people are now living longer than ever before. But what is more important is that they are living better as they live longer. It is my opinion that we have scientific and technological development to thank for this progress.
